Vision Statement

The New Mexico Academy for Sciences and Mathematics strives to be a secondary school community of excellence that provides an enriched International Baccalaureate college preparatory curriculum to a multi-cultural student body of boarding and day students from Santa Fe, New Mexico, and across the globe. The provisions of the Earth Charter will guide and direct the decisions and actions of the community.

Mission Statement

The New Mexico Academy for Sciences and Mathematics pursues the following:

  1. To provide students in grades 7 through 12 with superior academic preparation that will enable them to succeed in American or international universities.
  2. To provide exceptional quality secondary educational opportunities to students of high achievement and potential.
  3. To maximize the educational, intercultural and social development of the students while in attendance.
  4. To provide a wide variety of non-academic activities that will encourage the development of civic and social responsibilities and cultural appreciation among the students, faculty and staff of the school.
  5. To develop facilities and technological systems that encourage students to participate in expanded educational opportunities at the local, national and international level.

The New Mexico Academy for Sciences and Mathematics community believes in the following:
